Sherlock Holmes Detective bookends, brass (pair)

These very large, super-heavy all-metal Sherlock Holmes bookends were designed in the 1970's or 80's. Very few were made, and only 10 pair in antique brass and 2 pair in polished aluminum were ever sold- very rare! These are new old stock. They have a double face of Sherlock on both the left and right side bookend so that they are always facing out. The back of the bookend is a book with "S. Holmes" on the spine. Measures 7"(17.8 cm) tall, 4" (10.2 cm) wide, and 5-1/2" (14 cm) deep. There are no chips or cracks! The base is backed with corkboard. Sold as a pair. Made in the USA.
