These are WWII AIRBORNE GLIDER WING Plaque

A very hard to find plaque which we researched and found these were made in the 1970's

The Plaque is all aluminum and has not been finished yet, as in the photos. Has two bolt studs, washers and nuts on the rear for attaching.

The plaque design is on line at many US Army Museums through out the country.

The wings suggest flight and together with the GLIDER symbolize the landing in a gilder during a combat mission.
