Have never seen this large a Bakelite Ball before!

We were told these are used on old military planes as a searching ball for their radar.

The bead can also be cut in half, or carved into smaller balls or jewelry.

There is NO hole drilled yet

The Bakelite Ball is over 70 years old.

Have been tested positive using semi-chrome polish then we polished them so most of the patina is now gone, patina will return in 2-3 months if left in the sun..

There is NO cracking, splitting or crazes. There are some very minor small chips.
